If there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s personal growth – measuring it, nurturing it, and genuinely seeing its impact. That drive has led me to create Ladder of Growth, a tool designed not just to track where you are but to illuminate your progress and empower you to take the next step on your journey. Today, I want to share some exciting updates on how we’re evolving our offerings and why this matters, not just for therapists, but for anyone seeking real transformation – especially those wrestling with anxiety.
Why Start with Therapists?
My starting point was clear: therapists. These incredible professionals are deeply invested in their own growth – they have to be, as it directly affects their ability to help others do the same.
“The journey that we’ve picked out to start with is the therapist growth journey because for us they are probably a group of people that are the most invested in that, their own personal growth because they help other people on that journey.” – Alexia
But therapists, like everyone else, need tools for self-reflection and accountability. That’s why we’ve created in-depth assessments and reports specifically for them. Our aim? To enable every therapist to understand exactly where they stand and how to become even more effective in their crucial, world-healing work.
Making Growth Easier to See (and Act On)
While we await feedback from early testers on our therapist assessment tool, I’ve been collaborating with tech partners to automate and refine our reporting system. Data excites me – not for its own sake, but because it translates into actionable insights:
“When I’m seeing all the data that we’re able to come up with and the way that my model is creating insights… I get really, really excited and want to see more of that.” – Alexia
Automating our processes allows us to deliver reports that are both meaningful and continuously improving – without losing the human touch that makes each growth journey personal.
Introducing the Anxiety Growth Journey
Given the scale of today’s mental health crisis, I felt compelled to branch out and create something for everyone struggling with anxiety.
“Loads of people are anxious and loads of people really want to sort out their anxiety, want to know that whatever they’re doing is working.” – Alexia
For anxiety, we’ve identified seven categories that capture different facets of the experience – like trust issues or control issues. Why categories? Because focusing your efforts makes progress less overwhelming and more tangible:
“By identifying these categories enables people to really give some focus to their inner work.” – Alexia
With our tool, you can now measure, track, and manage your anxiety progress month by month, seeing exactly what’s working for you.
Partnering for Real Change
Here’s what’s truly unique about our latest journey: partnership. Specifically, we’re collaborating with a personal development brand (Head Trash – my other company!) to ensure you not only understand your growth, but can take immediate, targeted action.
“We at Ladder of Growth, we’re the diagnostic tool… but actually there are lots of brands, companies out there that actually can provide you with the thing that you need to do in order to move the needle.” – Alexia
With Head Trash, when you complete an anxiety assessment, you’ll receive not just a diagnosis or data, but direct guidance – what to do, how to do it, and the tools to make it happen. Then, Ladder of Growth measures your progress – giving you a holistic, personalized path forward.
Expanding the Ecosystem: Books and Future Journeys
Personal growth isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some prefer deep dives, others want a quick guide, and some crave hands-on tools. That’s why I’m also developing a suite of books – one for anxiety, one for therapists, and more to come.
“We’re creating these different ways that people can engage with the model at various levels.” – Alexia
This is about building a branded ecosystem for each growth journey – so you can access support in the way that works best for you.
Keeping It Human: The Blend of AI and Empathy
Technology is an enabler here, but it doesn’t replace the human element. Every report is reviewed by a person – always.
“AI is helping us and is assisting us, it’s not replacing us because this is personal growth and the keyword in there is personal as well as growth.” – Alexia
We’re committed to being present and thoughtful in every aspect of what we deliver.
What’s Next for Ladder of Growth?
These days are fast-paced and, honestly, exhilarating. I’m balancing report automation, book launches (including one on tokophobia and reproductive anxiety disorder), and family life – because growth is, after all, personal.
If you’re a therapist wanting to become the best version of yourself, someone seeking relief from anxiety, or simply a curious self-developer – there’s a journey here for you. And I’m thrilled to walk it alongside you.
Stay tuned for more – because the next steps in growth are just getting started.
